The series premiered on September 18, 2015 on Disney Channel and Disney Junior in the United States, in late 2015 on France 5 in France,and early 2016 on Disney Junior (Canada). The show is based on the Les Pyjamasques book series from French author Romuald Racioppo, which has so far released 21 books
