SpongeBob SquarePants is a show that will always hold a special place in my childhood memories. SpongeBob as a whole is a series that is very unique and took a very different approach to humor that combined comedy with the show’s creator, Stephen Hillenburg’s knowledge of undersea life. It’s no secret that over time, the quality of episodes took a very steep decline, but that doesn’t dismiss the legacy that the show built over the years. In my opinion, the early seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants are by far the best, but there’s just something about season 1 that really stands out among the other quality seasons. That’s why today, on our nostalgic walk down memory lane, we are going to dive down to Bikini Bottom and dissect season 1 of SpongeBob SquarePants to relive some childhood memories and remember what made it so special.
