Been a while, hasn’t it? During that downtime, by some miracle, my Backyard Sports video seemed to garner a lot of unexpected attention as it became the most viewed video on my channel in just under a year’s time.
I had been toying with the idea of making another “Everything Reviewed” video ever since I completed it, because despite the fact that I was a bit spiteful after I finished it and felt like that effort wasn’t worth it (and I still don’t to an extent), it made me look for an opportunity to try the same thing again, but for a subject I was more passionate about. So, as the title of the video suggests, I turned to Spongebob.
As many of you already know, I was making videos on licensed games back in 2021, and while I was decently proud of them, they weren’t quite living up to my standards of what I truly wanted them to be. I wasn’t satisfied or fully passionate about them, and it really showed, especially compared to the kinds of videos I was making prior to them. That being said, I think I’ve finally found a formula that works for me, because this is easily one of the best videos I’ve made yet (at least, I think so), and so I’d like to continue down this path in the future.
I realize Spongebob is an overdone subject but other than one YouTuber who managed to beat me to this (kind of) earlier this year, I haven’t seen anybody else really cover every single Spongebob video game in one massive retrospective. So, I took it upon myself, and here we are. 5 months of work went into this one and no doubt it was another 200+ hour project just like the last one, so I hope you enjoy it!
