So I’ve been meaning to make an anti-AI video for quite a while now especially because of how many AI videos there are on YouTube about SpongeBob. In researching the subject, I noticed that infamous AI SpongeBob channel SpongeTruths posted a video with a thumbnail that had some similarities to one of my own videos. Upon watching it, I was shocked to see just how much of it seemed to have lifted concepts directly from my video.
This isn’t just a breakdown of AI SpongeBob videos. It’s a deep dive into why AI could fundamentally never imitate what an actual person is capable of. We’re gonna discuss the importance of human perspective, how AI damages the entire media landscape and what reasonable AI regulation should look like.
